3. Source adalah tentang sumber dari berita, dan ini juga meliputi komentar dan hal yang diberikan oleh narasumber

Lalu, yang juga bisa menjadi pemahasan adalah ciri-ciri dari news text item. Ciri beserta struktur dari news text item ini sangat berbeda dengan berbagai contoh iklan dalam bahasa inggris karena tujuannya pun sangat berbeda.


Berikut ini adalah beberapa karakteristik dari tulisan ini:

1. Tulisan atau text dibuat dengan komposisi yang singkat

2. Konten berupa fakta dan umumnya bersifat netral

3. Memiliki detail kejadian yang jelas

4. Penggunaan action verb atau kata kerja yang menunjukkan suatu tindakan
